Cristopher was born in a small town, east of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1957. At the age of 26, he attended The International Fine Arts College where he attained his degree in Art with high honors.  From 1985 to 1999, his primary focus was in high-end residential and commercial interior design.

Cristopher settled in the San Francisco Bay Area late in 1986.   It didn’t take long for him to realize the Bay Area was an excellent location for the love of his craft, career and his residence.

Cristopher’s love of art was always intense but his interest in painting came in the early 1990’s. He discovered an artist from Israel, named Itzchak Tarkay. He studied and admired Tarkay’s work passionately and realized how badly he wanted to attempt to paint himself utilizing Takay’s technique.

Cristopher continues to challenge himself with the art of Tarkay and other artists who he admires. In 2007, Cristopher decided to paint a rather large portrait of Lucille Ball in oil. Upon completion of this oil painting, he knew he had opened a new door of opportunity for his career path and for his love of art.

Cristopher is now working with other forms of media and mixed media moving him in yet another direction in his infatuation of art, abstracts. He feels, along with his experience, his knowledge and absolute love of color will bring him great joy and peace while creating new ideas in “abstract art”.
